Antony Kyle Sanders

Antony Kyle Sanders was born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, on February 7, 1996, the son of Angela Shockey and Dale Sanders. He graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 2015 and went on to study at Hagerstown Community College. At the time of his passing he was in the third year of his apprenticeship with Steam Fitters Union Local #486.

Anyone who knew Antony will tell you how loving and caring he was. His laugh was contagious, and his smile could brighten any room. You knew the moment he walked through the door. He was a talented athlete, and some of his favorite days were spent at the dirt track and the drag strip with family and friends.

People didn't just call Antony a friend. They called him their brother. To Antony, everyone was a friend, and no one ever got left out. He shared an especially close bond with his mother, his grandfather, and his brother.

He is survived by his mother, Angela; his daughter, Harper Grayce Sanders, born five months after his passing; his brother, Brady Shaffer, of Waynesboro, PA; his stepfather, Eric Shaffer, of Waynesboro, PA; his grandparents, Danny Shockey and Betty Sue Shuff; and his girlfriend, Shanna Garvin, and her four children.
